Our services

Services for children and adults with developmental disabilities

Waypoint is a developmental disabilities agency (DDA) in Nampa, Idaho. Our five services meet people where they are: at our center, in their homes, and out in the community. Services are funded through Idaho Medicaid, and developmental therapy is also available as private pay.

Where services happen

At our center, at home, and in the community

Skills stick when people practice them where life happens, so most of our services can take place in more than one setting.

Paying for services

Covered by Idaho Medicaid

Developmental disability services in Idaho are funded through Medicaid. The first step for any family is to apply for Idaho Medicaid, and income is not necessarily a disqualifier. From there, adults apply for services through the Bureau of Developmental Disability Services (BDDS), and children apply for Children's Developmental Disability Services.

Developmental therapy is a Medicaid-reimbursable service, and we also offer it as private pay for people who don't have, or don't qualify for, Medicaid.
